CNA Training And Apprentice Program
The Delmar Gardens Family offers training to become a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) after you are hired as a Nurse Assistant (NA) or Nurse Assistant Trainee (NAT).
CNA Training And Apprentice Program Classes
Classes are offered at these skilled nursing centers:
• Delmar Gardens of Chesterfield
• Delmar Gardens South
• Delmar Gardens of O’Fallon
• Delmar Gardens on the Green
• Delmar Gardens West
• Delmar Gardens of Meramec Valley
Delmar Gardens is excited to offer you this opportunity to become a Certified Nurses Aide. Delmar Gardens will provide the class free of charge and provide you with training manual. The State of Missouri requires 175 hours of classroom training and on-the-job clinical training.
While you are taking the course, we will hire you as a Nurse Assistant Trainee at Delmar Gardens and pay you $15.00 per hours for the clinical training hours you receive at the facility. You will also be able to pick up extra shifts as your training schedule allows. During your training, you are expected to remain in good standing as an employee by attending all scheduled classes and showing up for work on time for you scheduled shifts. You must complete the course and pass your certification test within 120 days of employment.
Upon passing your certification test, you will be promoted to a Certified Nursing Assistant at Delmar Gardens. You will receive a pay increase making your pay $17.00 per hours. As an additional incentive and reward you will be eligible to receive the following certification incentive bonuses*.
* Bonuses are paid to full time CNA’s in good standing without any written corrective action.

To receive the bonuses, you must remain as a full time CNA in good standing with Delmar Gardens at the time the bonuses are due. In addition to pay and bonuses, on the first of month following 90 days of full-time employment you are eligible to participate in all the great benefits we offer our deal staff.
